Samenvatting

Door huisartsenzorg van hoge kwaliteit te bieden hopen we ziekten vroeg op te sporen en snel te behandelen. Maar of de invoer van kwaliteitsindicatoren ook daadwerkelijk de sterfte beïnvloedt, was nog onduidelijk. Nieuw onderzoek laat zien dat de koppeling van vergoedingen aan kwaliteits­indicatoren niet heeft gezorgd voor een daling van de sterfte.
