Saturatiemeting bij koolstofmonoxide intoxicatie

Samenvatting

Goed dat er in de rubriek Casuïstiek aandacht is voor het voorkomen en behandelen van een koolstofmonoxide(CO)-intoxicatie.1 In de beschreven casuïstiek werd er bij een 60-jarige onwel geworden vrouw gedacht aan een CO-vergiftiging vanwege de bijpassende symptomen en het afgaan van de CO-melder. Patiënte werd onderzocht, waarbij onder andere een saturatiemeting werd verricht.
