Samenvatting

Pijn in de heupregio komt vaak voor bij ouderen. Heupartrose is hier een belangrijke oorzaak van. Maar het was nog onduidelijk of pijn in de heupregio inderdaad gerelateerd is aan heup­artrose op een röntgenfoto. Nieuw onderzoek laat zien dat heuppijn lang niet altijd gerelateerd is aan heupartrose op de röntgenfoto.
