Samenvatting

Als er complicaties ontstaan na een operatie is het voor de patiënt het beste om heropgenomen te worden in hetzelfde ziekenhuis. Dagelijks worden patiënten ontslagen uit het ziekenhuis na een operatie en neemt de huisarts de zorg weer over. Nieuw onderzoek maakt nu duidelijk dat de patiënt bij complicaties terug moet naar hetzelfde ziekenhuis.
