Samenvatting

Aan het rijtje bijwerkingen in de bijsluiter van benzodiazepinen, zoals slaperigheid, duizeligheid, verwardheid en verhoogd valrisico, kan er nog eentje worden toegevoegd. Het lijkt er namelijk op dat patiënten die langdurig benzodiazepinen gebruiken, een verhoogde kans hebben op de ziekte van Alzheimer.
