Samenvatting

De differentiaaldiagnose bij patiënten met een eenzijdige zwelling aan de elleboogpunt is beperkt. Behalve een bursitis olecrani zijn er weinig andere diagnoses die in aanmerking komen. De duur van de klachten bij presentatie bepaalt of het om een acute of chronische bursitis gaat.
