Samenvatting
Een teruglopend oriëntatievermogen is een bekend probleem bij dementie dat mensen sterk in hun bewegingsvrijheid kan gaan belemmeren. Beter inzicht in desoriëntatie en in effectieve manieren om mensen met dementie in de ruimtelijke omgeving te ondersteunen, kan dan ook belangrijke winst betekenen voor de kwaliteit van leven. Recent Frans onderzoek met virtual reality biedt nieuwe aanknopingspunten.
