Traumaspecialisten van drie academische ziekenhuizen willen dat slachtoffers van een ernstig verkeers- of ander ongeluk in een vroeg stadium worden gescreend op psychische klachten. De reden is dat een op de zes traumaslachtoffers binnen een jaar een posttraumatische stress-stoornis (PTSS) ontwikkelt.
