Samenvatting

Op de intensive care zijn er regelmatig situaties waarin de vraag heerst of een patiënt vullingbehoeftig is. Om antwoord te krijgen op die vraag wordt op de ic steeds vaker de passive leg raising (PLR) test uitgevoerd. Er is voor deze test echter nog geen eenduidige werkwijze. Bovendien is het onduidelijk of de test wel betrouwbaar is. Hoe wordt de test goed uitgevoerd en welke parameters zijn van belang?
