Samenvatting

Duizeligheid is een moeilijk behandelbare klacht en farmacotherapie vervult daarbij een zeer beperkte rol. Alle richtlijnen geven aan dat terughoudendheid geboden is bij gebrek aan voldoende bewijs voor de effectiviteit van deze geneesmiddelen.

Tegelijkertijd komt duizeligheid als gevolg van geneesmiddelinname veel voor. Het is daarom van belang een ongewenste werking van een geneesmiddel in de differentiaaldiagnose van duizeligheid op te nemen.
