Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag reagiert auf einen Aufsatz aus der Zeitschrift für Politikberatung, in welchem der Autor Andreas Geiger nachweisen möchte, dass Lobbying einen gesamtwirtschaftlichen Nutzen hat. Es wird hinterfragt, auf welche Weise ökonomische Kategorien auf den politischen Prozess zu übertragen sind und welchen Mehrwert Partizipation bietet.

Abstract

This paper reacts to an article by Andreas Geiger, published in the Journal for Political Consulting and Policy Advice. He argues that lobbying creates macro-economic benefits. The questions are, however, how to apply economic categories to the political process and which added value participation offers.
