Abstract
Bispecific antibodies revolutionized immunotherapy by improving the specificity of target recognition and extending the spectrum of treatments by enabling efficient target and effector cell interaction. Engineering strategies have led to novel designs of tri- and multispecific antibodies, which combine even more beneficial properties and promise superior efficacy and safety. Several of them efficiently harvest the patient’s immune response by addressing effector cells of the innate immune system.
