Abstract
Solid phase extraction has become the most frequently used method in sample preparation. A significant advantage of solid phase extraction is the significantly lower solvent consumption, which has a positive effect both in terms of costs and environmentally relevant aspects. SPE-based sample preparation processes are characterized by a large number of different sub-processes. For the processing of large numbers of samples, in particular, the automation of this process is ideal in terms of throughput, minimizing processing times and reducing costs.
