Abstract

Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) remains the standard treatment for intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Hepatic arteries provide more than 80% of the blood supply of HCC. However, tumor supply originating from right renal artery is a rare variant. We herein present a 58-year-old man with HCC which was supplied by a right renal artery trunk and hepatic arteries. The diagnosis was made by arteriography and HCC was successfully embolized with lipiodol.
