Abstract
Burmeistera antioquensis, Burmeistera bullatifolia, and Burmeistera luteynii (Campanulaceae-Lobelioideae), three new species of sect. Barbatae, are described and illustrated, and their affinities and conservation status are discussed. The three species are small herbs that grow in the understory of wet montane forests and páramos of the Central and Western cordilleras of Colombia. Burmeistera antioquensis and Burmeistera luteynii, both restricted to the department of Antioquia, have bright red to pink corollas, whereas Burmeistera bullatifolia, also found in Valle del Cauca and Chocó, has green to yellowish corollas.
