Type designation of Fumana fontanesii and F. grandiflora (Cistaceae)

  • Published:
Kew Bulletin Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The typification of two names in the genus Fumana: F. fontanesii Clauson ex Pomel and F. grandiflora Jaub. & Spach (Cistaceae) is discussed. The designation of the nomenclatural types is based on the assessment of the respective protologues and the original material. The name F. fontanesii is lectotypified using a specimen from Clauson’s material at MPU, and F. grandiflora using a specimen preserved at P and collected by Aucher-Éloy in Turkey.
