Summary

A new species of Hyptis sect. Eriosphaeria (Lamiaceae) from Goiás (Brazil) is described, illustrated and compared with related species in sect. Eriosphaeria subsect. Passerinae. An evaluation of the species of the group and a key to identification is provided.
