Abstract

Colonic lipomatosis is a rare tumor of the colon. Diagnosis is often made incidentally as frequently asymptomatic. Despite its extreme rarity, some morphological data can provide diagnosis and avoid surgery. We describe two original presentations that led to surgical resection. Through these two observations, we discuss how to make preoperative diagnosis and surgical indication.
