Notes

  1. See the second volume of The Old English Drama, London, 1825, and the second volume of The Works of Christopher Marlowe, London, 1826. I was unable to locate copies of the 1818 edition of Dido by William Oxberry, or of his 1827 bound edition of Marlowe’s complete plays mentioned by Fredson Bowers in his edition of Marlowe’s works (1981), by the Marlowe Society on their webpage and by Ziosi.
