Abstract

Singapore provides a case study of authoritarian (and benevolent) democracy, sustained by state interventionist policies and economic planning. In this article, though pertinent statistics and their analysis, author G. Shantakumar provides an insightful look at how older persons in Singapore are dealing with all manner of ageing issues.
