Sanford Pinsker is Shadek Professor of Humanities at Franklin and Marshall College and editor of Academic Questions, a quarterly publication of the National Association of Scholars. He writes widely about American literature and culture for intellectual quarterlies such as Partisan Review, The Virginia Quarterly The Georgia Review, Southern Review, and others. The author of a dozen books on figures such as Joseph Conrad, Joseph Heller, Philip Roth, and Cynthia Ozick, Pinsker is currently at work on an anthology of American humor.
