Additional information

Peter Lomas qualified in medicine at Manchester University and, after training at the neurological unit of Manchester Royal Infirmary, was a general practitioner for six years. He then worked in mental hospitals and other branches of psychiatry, trained as a Freudian psychoanalyst in London. Lomas now practices independently as a psychotherapist in Cambridge, England. He is also the author of The Limits of Interpretation and The Psychotherapy of Everday Life, both published by Transaction Books.
