Stephen V. Monsma is a professor of political science and holds the Blanches E. Searer Chair in Social Science at Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. He is author of The Challenge of Pluralism: Church and State in Five Democracies (1997), When Sacred and Secular Mix: Religious Nonprofit Organizations and Public Money (1996), and Positive Neutrality: Letting Religious Freedom Ring (1993).
