Susan Shell is professor of political science at Boston College. Her most recent book is The Embodiment of Reason: Kant on Spirit, Generation and Community.

David Lewis Schaefer is professor of political science at Holy Cross College (Worcester, MA). He is the author of The Political Philosophy of Montaigne (1990) and of several studies of John Rawls.

Diana Schaub is associate professor of political science at Loyola College in Maryland. She is the author of Erotic Liberalism: Women and Revolution in Montesquieu's “Persian Letters.” She writes regularly for The Public Interest and other journals.
