Sanford Pinsker is Shadek Professor of Humanities at Franklin and Marshall College. He writes widely on American literature and culture.

Paul Hollander is professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His latest book is Discontents: Postmodern and Postcommunist, forthcoming from Transaction.
