This review article contained a few inadvertent errors. In Table 1, “Rubinstein Taybi syndrome” and on Page 4, under Case 1, line 16, “dysmorphism” have been misspelt. On Page 2, line 7 should read as “Down syndrome is the most important and common cause of ID (6-8% of the cases).” On Page 5, under Case 3, line 1 should read as “A 9-y-old boy was on follow up since 6 mo of age for severe intellectual disability.” On Page 6, under the heading “Recommended approach to diagnosis in GDD/ID”, point no. 2 should read as “Based on the evaluation the tentative diagnosis/ differential diagnoses are made.” On Page 7, the 6th point should read as “Metabolic tier 1 screening as per Table 2” (instead of Fig. 1).
