The section “Patient recruitment and anthropometry” contained the following incorrect statement:
Visceral fat area was calculated by a radiologist using a previously standardised and validated technique, and visceral fat areas in excess of 130 m2 were classified as obese [19].
Correct is:
Visceral fat area was calculated by a radiologist using a previously standardised and validated technique, and patients with visceral fat areas in excess of 163.8 cm2 (men) and 80.1 cm2 (women) were classified as obese [19].
