Tafeln sind ein niedrigschwelliges Angebot, von dem die Nutzer und die ehrenamtlich Tätigen profitieren. Der Deutsche Caritasverband will das Tafel-Angebot mitgestalten und kritisch begleiten. Mit den Tafeln will er konkrete Not lindern und gleichzeitig durch politische Arbeit die Armutsbekämpfung aktiv vorantreiben.
