Zusammenfassung

Der Sammelband „The Diversity of Social Pedagogy in Europe“ ( KORNBECK/ROSENDAL JENSEN 2009 ) zeigt Probleme einer komparativen Forschung auf. Absicht der Publikation war aber weder ein Forschungsprogramm darzustellen noch eine vergleichende Analyse anzubieten. Das Ziel war viel bescheidener, nämlich die Diversität der Sozialpädagogik in Europa nachzuweisen und nicht nur davon zu reden, sondern durch Länderberichte den Stand der Entwicklung in mehreren Ländern zu beleuchten. Nicht im Sinne von „Reisepädagogik“, sondern im Sinne von „pädagogischer Länderkunde“, praktisch als Beitrag von ExpertInnen der einzelnen Nationalstaaten.

Nutzen / Das Wichtigste in Kürze Die neue Lage der Nationalstaaten Europas, die von einer europäischen Regelung sehr stark beeinfl usst ist, erfordert komparative Analysen. Grundlage einer Theoriebildung und damit der Verallgemeinerung ist die komparative Analyse. Fragen nach einem neuen Zusammenhang müssen gestellt werden.
