Abstract

Numerical investigations are carried out to study incompressible hydromagnetic flow of Carreau liquid subjected to the stretching sheet, which saturates the porous medium space. Energy equation incorporated the influence of Joule heating and heat source/sink while mass equation is influenced by chemical reaction term. Similarity transformations are used to acquire non-linear Ode’s system. Qausilinearisation technique with finite difference method is implemented for the numerical results. The results of emerging parameters are presented in graphical and tabular forms. It is observed that porosity parameter and local inertia coefficient parameter enhance the velocity profiles. Chemical reaction parameter decays the concentration field.
