Abstract
A 13-year-old boy presented to the emergency department with proptosis, blepharoptosis, and partial external ophthalmoplegia of the right eye following accidental blunt trauma. Clinical and investigative observations indicated right orbital hemorrhage in the form of an isolated superior rectus muscle hematoma. Recovery was complete after conservative treatment with systemic corticosteroids.
