Abstract
Bilateral cataracts developed within a few weeks in a 28-year-old man with atopic dermatitis. The patient denied ocular trauma and use of corticosteroid ointment at that time. His cataracts phogressed during remission of the skin lesions. We believe that rap---progression of cataracts associated with atopic dermatitis is uncommon.
