Abstract

The existence of combined psychosis and cancer isn’t an exceptional situation. Such psychiatric comorbidities could result in a loss of chance regarding care strategies in cancer. We will first review the limiting factors of an adequate treatment for these patients in oncologic settings, then we will propose some guidelines for optimizing disease management. Finally, two clinical vignettes about psychotic patients with cancer will complete our reflection.
