Abstract
Shortness of breath and pain are common problems in patients with end-stage chronic diseases. Palliative treatment of dyspnea does not mean that the etiology and pathogenesis of the diseases should not be taken into consideration. The differentiated and individualized application of technical aids and medication help to reduce suffering!
