Die Förderung seelischer Gesundheit und die Prävention seelischer Krankheiten im Allgemeinkrankenhaus: Gibt es Beziehungen zur Konsiliar-Liaison-Psychiatrie?

Summary

Patients treated in general hospitals frequently suffer from psychiatric comorbidity. Thus they might be a venue for the implementation of preventive measures such as are pioneered by the WHO concept of health promoting hospitals. This article provides a short overview about this movement in order to stimulate consultation-liaison psychiatrists to think about possible co-operation of their services, as their bio-psychosocial tradition is posed to interact with salutogenic perspectives.

Zusammenfassung

Allgemeinkrankenhäuser sollten wegen der häufigen psychischen Komorbidität der hier primär wegen körperlicher Krankheiten behandelten Patienten auch als Orte möglicher psychiatrischer präventiver Maßnahmen angesehen werden. Dies ist für Initiativen, wie sie im Rahmen der Bewegung für gesundheitsfördernde Krankenhäuser geplant werden, relevant und könnte eine Schnittstelle zu konsiliar-liaisonpsychiatrischen Diensten bieten. Dieser Beitrag informiert über die WHO-Initiative für ein gesundheitsförderndes Krankenhaus, um entsprechende Überlegungen zu fördern.
