Résumé
La neuromodulation des racines sacrées est la stratégie thérapeutique de l’incontinence aujourd’hui certainement la mieux évaluée. C’est probablement également celle qui apporte le bénéfice thérapeutique le plus franc et le plus cliniquement perceptible. Sa prise en charge reste encore insuffisamment développée. Les écueils sont vraisemblablement liés à son coût et à une certaine rigueur de son suivi.
Abstract
Sacral nerve stimulation is the best-evaluated procedure to treat today faecal incontinence. That is also the one that offers the best clear-cut clinical benefit in the management process. However its widespread is somewhat restrained, both due to its cost and its rigorous follow-up.
