Présentation du Cercle luxembourgeois d’algologie (CLA)

Résumé

Le regroupement de disciplines différentes autour d’une thématique comme la douleur est une stratégie indispensable à l’optimisation des ressources. Cela demande une volonté individuelle de chaque partenaire, mais aussi le déploiement d’une certaine politique de soins de santé, axée sur le patient. Le Cercle luxembourgeois d’algologie (CLA) est une jeune association, née il y a deux ans, et dont les missions principales devraient aboutir à une réorganisation du paysage médical et paramédical, selon un modèle à deux niveaux. Cela aboutira à une optimalisation de la prise en charge du patient douloureux et à une reconnaissance de l’acte intellectuel médical.

Abstract

Bringing together different professions around a topic such as pain is essential to maximize the efficiency of human resources. This can only be achieved through the individual willpower of each partner, as well as a specific health care policy, centred around the patients themselves. The Luxembourg Pain Society is a young association created two years ago: its main tasks should lead to a reorganisation of the medical and paramedical cares, according to two-level model. This in turn will lead to an optimisation of the taking charge of the painful patient, and a recognition of the intellectual medical effort.
