Abstract

The increased prevalence of gastro-esophageal reflux in obese patients, combined with the development of laparoscopic antireflux procedures, has increased the number of candidates to bariatric surgery with a previous fundoplication. We report five cases of laparoscopic bariatric surgery after previous antireflux surgery, without dismantling of the previous fundoplication.
