Sleeve-plicature laparoscopique : encore un peu de prudence !

Laparoscopic Greater Curve Plication: caution is advised!

Abstract

Laparoscopic greater Curve Plication (LGCP) stands as a competitor to the actual sleeve gastrectomy (SG). Although available results are encouraging, it is too early to claim that it matches the SG. Long-term weightloss results are not available and the rate of complications is likely to be close to the SG. LGCP could already be a valuable tool for re-operation, and it is a benchmark for endoscopic plication techniques.
