Zusammenfassung

Rotatorenmanschettenrupturen sind bei adoleszenten Patientinnen und Patienten seltene Verletzungen, werden initial häufig übersehen und im Zweifel erst verzögert adäquat therapiert. In der Vergangenheit wurden diese Pathologien primär offen-chirurgisch behandelt. Wir berichten von einem 13-jährigen Patienten, der sich beim Fußball eine komplette periostale Subscapularissehnenavulsion zuzog. Neben der Darstellung der operativen Technik erfolgt eine Einordnung im Hinblick auf die vorhandene Literatur.

Abstract

Rotator cuff injuries are rarely found in adolescent patients. Commonly they are not recognized initially and are often only treated adequately after a significant delay. In the past, these pathologies were treated via an open approach. The given case presents a 13-year-old adolescent who sustained a complete periostal subscapularis tendon avulsion. In addition to the description of our surgical technique, this article discusses the current literature.
