The List

Fran occasionally allows me to go to the grocery store by myself. This is an infrequent occurrence because experience has demonstrated that I often purchase things that we do not need, such as premium ice cream, freshly baked pies, and aged angus beef steaks. Additionally, the very thing that I went to the store to purchase is often forgotten. Because of my malpractices, Fran now gives me a list to carry to the store and even encourages me to use the list while I am in the store. There are many kinds of lists: shopping lists, Christmas card lists, lists of telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and birthdays; however, the list I most often use is a shopping list for the grocery store. Because the grocery list has proven useful, I have evaluated some of the subtleness that Fran includes.
