Fracture, Fatigue, and Corrosion for Medical Device Validation

Four Points by Sheraton Norwood Hotel and Conference Center, Norwood, MA

This course will review the basics of stress analysis, fracture mechanics, fatigue, corrosion, and electrochemistry and their application for medical device design validation. Several case studies with specific device design and validation approaches are given. In addition, the seminar will provide information regarding FDA submissions with respect to stress analysis, fatigue, and corrosion of medical devices.
