Abstract
The segregation kinetics of C and N to the dislocations was determined after heavy deformation by thermoelectric power in ferritic steels containing varying amounts of Mn or Cr atoms. It was shown that chromium and manganese have a strong influence on the segregation of N but almost no influence on the segregation of C.
