Résumé

Les thérapeutiques manuelles de la coccygodynie sont un traitement validé, mais de modeste efficacité. Cet article reprend les différentes techniques, qu’elles soient interne, par le rectum, ou externe. Dans une seconde partie, les deux études contrôlées de la littérature sont résumées.

Abstract

Manual therapy is a valid treatment, although with modest efficacy, for chronic coccydynia. This article reviews the different techniques, internal manipulation via the rectum and external manipulation, and their history. In a second part, two controlled trials from the literature are summarized.
