De la déficience à l’autonomie, prise en charge pluridisciplinaire d’une patiente présentant un diabète avec complications multiples dont un mal perforant plantaire traité par Aquacel^®

Résumé:

Après un bref rappel du schéma de Wood appliqué au pied diabétique compliqué d’artérite des membres inférieurs et amputation, l’auteur explique l’importance d’un travail pluridisciplinaire associant médecin de MPR, diabétologue et appareilleurs dans la prise en charge d’une diabétique avec mal perforant plantaire (MPP). La mise en décharge grâce à des chaussures adaptées et le traitement local par Aquacel^® Agavec l’acquisition d’un bon équilibre dudiabète permettent d’obtenir la cicatrisation complète de la plaie.

Abstract:

First, a brief recall presents the Wood classification applied to diabetes foot with arteritis complication on lower limbs and amputation, then the author shows the importance of a multidisciplinary approach associating a mal perforant specialist, a diabetologist and bracers for the combined care of a female patient who has developed diabetes with mal perforant. Unsupported standing can be achieved through fitting shoes and local treatment with Aquacel^® Ag until diabetes balance becomes satisfactory allowing the wound to heal up.
