Zusammenfassung

Plattenepithelkarzinome des Penis sind selten. Lokale Behandlungsstrategien reichen von topischen Salbenapplikationen über Strahlentherapie und organerhaltenden operativen Verfahren bis hin zur kompletten Demaskulinisierung. Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt der Frage einer (inguinalen oder pelvinen) Lymphadenektomie und Bestrahlung der Lymphabflusswege zu. Adjuvante, neoadjuvante und palliative Chemotherapien sind etabliert (auch in Kombination mit der Strahlentherapie), das Evidenzniveau der Daten ist jedoch gering. Fernmetastasierte Stadien haben trotz Polychemotherapien eine schlechte Prognose. Das Evidenzniveau von multimodalen Therapiekonzepten ist ebenfalls niedrig. Peniskarzinome sind damit Tumorerkrankungen, bei denen die "Erfahrung" der Behandler besonders zählt.
