Abstract
Revision knee surgery is a complex and challenging procedure. Surgeons have to face more complex problems than in primary TKA. Bone loss and soft tissue imbalance are a primary concern after failed total knee arthroplasty. The goals of revision total knee arthroplasty are the same as those of primary surgery: restoring a normal knee anatomy, regaining function, providing stability and a pain free knee.
