Abstract

The goal of a total knee replacement is a good Range of Motion, pain relief, stability. All these factors are mandatory to achieve a long time survive of the implant and a individual satisfaction. Ligament balancing is the main part to implant a total knee prothesis in a right way. There are 2 ways to have a ligament balanced prothesis; the bony landmark technique and the gap balancing technique. The 2 technique are evaluated but We thing that the best is to use a mixed technique.
