Flatfoot in children

Abstract

Functional flexible flat foot is characterized by a lower medial arch and a persistent pronation. If not adequately treated during growth age, it can develop secondary problems in adulthood. By using the algorithm we propose, it is possible to obtain an optimal and lasting correction of the deformity.
