Zusammenfassung

Die Evaluation der europäischen Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) sollte sich nicht allein auf praktische Umsetzungsfragen beschränken, sondern auch das Potenzial für eine Weiterentwicklung eines digitale Grundrechte schützenden Informationsrechts ausloten. Die DSGVO bietet insofern eine valide Grundlage, ohne dass deren Potenzial bisher ausgeschöpft wird.
